Alan Thomas Seabaugh is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Louisiana Senate for District 31. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 2010 to 2024, where he was a founding chairman of the Louisiana Freedom Caucus and held leadership roles within the Republican delegation. Throughout his legislative career, Seabaugh has been a vocal advocate for conservative fiscal policies, education reform, and tort reform, while consistently opposing tax increases. He is a managing partner at the law firm Seabaugh, Joffrion, Sepulvado & Victory and has been active in various legal and civic organizations, including the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions.
