Alberto Asarta

Alberto Teófilo Asarta Cuevas is a Spanish military officer and politician who served as a member of the Congress of Deputies representing Castellón. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished military career, reaching the rank of Major General. He participated in various international peacekeeping missions, including in El Salvador, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Lebanon, and served as the Force Commander of UNIFIL from 2010 to 2012. In 2019, he was elected to the Spanish Parliament as a candidate for the Vox party.
