Alberto Costa

Alberto Costa is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for South Leicestershire since 2015. A former solicitor who worked at the Treasury Solicitor's Department, he was elected to the House of Commons after previously standing as a candidate in Angus. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has campaigned on issues such as local road safety, the protection of EU citizens' rights, and the regulation of microplastics. In September 2024, he was elected as the Chair of the Standards Committee.
