Kenneth Clarke

Kenneth Clarke, Baron Clarke of Nottingham, is a British politician and life peer who has served in the House of Lords since 2020. A prominent figure in British politics for decades, he previously served as a Member of Parliament for Rushcliffe from 1970 to 2019 and held several high-ranking cabinet positions, including Home Secretary, Chancellor of the Exchequer, and Justice Secretary. Known as a 'Big Beast' of the Conservative Party, Clarke is recognized for his pro-European views and one-nation conservative ideology. Throughout his extensive career, he served under four Prime Ministers and held two of the Great Offices of State.
