Julia Neuberger

Julia Neuberger, Baroness Neuberger, is a British rabbi, politician, and life peer. Ordained as the second female rabbi in the United Kingdom, she has held significant leadership roles in both religious and public sectors, including serving as the senior rabbi of the West London Synagogue and chair of University College London Hospitals. Appointed to the House of Lords in 2004, she initially took the Liberal Democrat whip before becoming a crossbencher in 2011. Throughout her career, she has been a prominent voice on healthcare policy, ethics, and volunteering, authoring numerous books on morality and public service.
