Tracy Gilbert

Tracy Gilbert is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Edinburgh North & Leith since 2024. Before entering national politics, she worked as a housing officer and served as the Scottish Regional Secretary for the USDAW trade union. In Parliament, she is a member of the International Development Committee and chairs the Floating Offshore Wind APPG. Her legislative work includes sponsoring the Absent Voting (Elections in Scotland and Wales) Act 2025. Gilbert has been vocal on issues such as commercial sexual exploitation, supporting the Nordic model approach, and has expressed critical views on gender self-identification and proposed conversion therapy legislation.
