Alejandra Gutiérrez Campos

Alejandra Gutiérrez Campos is a Mexican politician currently serving as the Mayor of León, Guanajuato, a position she has held since 2021. Prior to her mayoral tenure, she served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing Guanajuato's 6th district from 2015 to 2018, and subsequently as a member of the Congress of Guanajuato from 2018 to 2021. A long-time member of the National Action Party (PAN), she resigned in April 2026 and joined the Citizens' Movement (MC), where she is considered a potential future gubernatorial candidate.
