Alejandro Kusanovic Glusevic is a Chilean politician and mechanical civil engineer currently serving as a Senator for the 15th Circumscription of the Magallanes Region since March 2022. Born in Punta Arenas on December 16, 1960, he previously served as a regional councillor for Magallanes from 2013 to 2021 and as president of the Regional Council from 2019 to 2020. Before entering politics full-time, he worked for over thirty years at Transbordadora Austral Broom (Tabsa), serving as its general manager until mid-2021. Throughout his political career, he has focused on regional development, public transparency, and national border issues.
