Iván Moreira

Iván Moreira is a Chilean politician and public relations professional affiliated with the Independent Democratic Union. He has served as a member of the Senate of Chile representing the Los Lagos Region since 2014, having previously been a member of the Chamber of Deputies for five consecutive terms from 1994 to 2014. Earlier in his career, he served as the appointed mayor of La Cisterna during the military government of Augusto Pinochet. A long-standing figure of the Chilean right, he is known for his conservative views, vocal support for the Pinochet regime, and his Evangelical faith.
