Alejandro Vilca is an Argentine politician, trade unionist, and garbage worker of Qulla indigenous descent. A prominent member of the Socialist Workers' Party (PTS) and the Workers' Left Front (FIT), he has long advocated for anti-capitalist policies and workers' rights. After serving as a deputy in the Jujuy provincial legislature starting in 2017, he was elected to the National Chamber of Deputies in 2021.
