Aleksandar Stevanović

Aleksandar Stevanović is a Serbian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Pančevo. Born in 1986 in Subotica, he graduated from the Faculty of Construction Management at Union University in Belgrade. Before entering politics, he worked in his family business and later served as the director of the public utility company JKP Higijena. A member of the Serbian Progressive Party since 2013, he has held various local government roles, including a position on the City Council, before being elected mayor in 2020 and subsequently re-elected. His administration has focused on urban infrastructure development, including the reconstruction of the Tamiš quay, expansion of industrial zones, and the construction of new educational and recreational facilities.
