Alenka Bratušek is a Slovenian politician who served as the first female Prime Minister of Slovenia from 2013 to 2014. She has held the position of Minister of Infrastructure in the Slovenian government since 2023, having previously served in the same role from 2018 to 2020. Before entering national politics, she worked as the head of the Directorate for the State Budget at the Ministry of Finance. Bratušek founded the Alliance of Alenka Bratušek party in 2014 and has remained a prominent figure in Slovenian governance, focusing on economic and infrastructure policy.
