Aleu Ayieny Aleu

Aleu Ayieny Aleu is a South Sudanese politician currently serving as the Minister of Interior of South Sudan, a position he assumed in January 2026. A veteran figure in South Sudanese politics, he previously held the same ministerial post from 2013 to 2015 and served as the governor of Warrap State between January 2021 and November 2022. Aleu began his career in the 1980s by joining the Sudan People's Liberation Army and later served as the deputy minister of interior of Sudan from 2005 to 2007.
