Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior is a South Sudanese politician currently serving as one of the Vice Presidents of South Sudan and head of the Gender and Youth Cluster. The widow of the late John Garang, she has been a prominent figure in the Sudan People's Liberation Movement and a long-time advocate for the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement. Throughout her career, she has served as the Minister of Roads and Transport and as a presidential advisor on gender and human rights. She remains a vocal advocate for government accountability and the welfare of liberation struggle veterans.
