Alex Boissonneault

Alex Boissonneault is a Canadian politician, journalist, and former radio host who serves as a Member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Arthabaska. He was elected in a 2025 by-election, successfully flipping a seat previously held by the Coalition Avenir Québec and defeating Conservative Party of Quebec leader Éric Duhaime. Prior to his political career, Boissonneault was a well-known radio host for Ici Radio-Canada Première, where he hosted the program Première Heure. During his 2025 campaign, he addressed his past legal issues related to the 3rd Summit of the Americas, expressing regret for his actions as a youth.
