Alex Dighton is an Australian politician currently serving as the Member of the South Australian House of Assembly for the electoral district of Black. A member of the Labor Party and its Labor Right faction, Dighton previously worked as a school teacher and served as the Deputy Principal at Sacred Heart College in Adelaide. He first contested the seat of Black in the 2022 state election but was unsuccessful. Following the resignation of the incumbent in 2024, Dighton won the subsequent by-election to enter the South Australian Parliament.
