Alex Lee

Alex Lee is an American politician serving as a member of the California State Assembly since 2020. Representing the 24th district, he is recognized as a progressive democratic socialist and a prominent advocate for housing reform, particularly social housing and land-value tax policies. Before his election, Lee worked as a legislative aide and held various student leadership positions at the University of California, Davis. Upon taking office at age 25, he became the youngest member of the California State Assembly and the first openly bisexual legislator in the state's history.
