Alexander J. Herrmann is a German politician and lawyer who currently serves as a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin. Born in East Berlin, he studied law at the Free University of Berlin and has worked as an attorney since 2004. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he previously served in the Berlin state parliament from 2011 to 2016 and returned to the chamber in 2021. Within the CDU parliamentary group, he acts as a spokesperson for legal and fire service policy and is a member of the Council of Elders.
