Alexandre Padilha

Alexandre Padilha is a Brazilian physician and politician affiliated with the Workers Party (PT). He currently serves as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies, though he has taken a leave of absence from his parliamentary duties to hold executive government positions. Padilha previously served as the Minister of Institutional Relations under President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and as the Minister of Health during the administration of Dilma Rousseff. He has been a prominent figure in Brazilian public health policy and federal government administration for over a decade.
