Alexandros Avlonitis

Alexandros Avlonitis is a Greek politician serving as a member of the Hellenic Parliament representing the Corfu constituency. Born in Dafni on the island of Corfu, he earned a BA in Law from Democritus University of Thrace and has practiced law since 1983, later serving as the final mayor of the municipality of Esperies from 2007 to 2010. First elected to parliament in 2019 with Syriza and re-elected in 2023, he subsequently left the party in late 2024, briefly joined the Movement for Democracy, and later returned to sitting as an independent.
