Alfred Mutua

Alfred Mutua is a Kenyan politician and journalist serving as the Minister for Labour and Social Protection, following previous service as Minister for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs and Minister for Tourism and Wildlife. He was the first Government Spokesman of Kenya from 2003 to 2012 and served two terms as the first Governor of Machakos County from 2013 to 2022. He is also the founder of the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party and has a background in media, academic lecturing, and public administration.
