Alio Daouda

Alio Daouda is a Nigerien politician and jurist currently serving as the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Keeper of the Seals, in the transitional government of Niger. A career magistrate, he previously served as the First President of the Court of Appeal of Niamey and presided over the military tribunal. Since joining the government in August 2023, he has focused on judicial reform, anti-corruption efforts, and the legal defense of Niger's sovereignty in disputes regarding natural resource exploitation, notably against the French company Orano. He is also actively involved in regional judicial cooperation within the Alliance of Sahel States.
