Alphonse Paolillo Jr. is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives for the 97th district, a position he has held since 2017. Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, he graduated from Wilbur Cross High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut in 1995. Before his election to the state legislature, Paolillo worked in the office of U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman and held a position at John Hancock Financial. He also served on the New Haven Board of Alders, where he acted as majority leader. In his current legislative capacity, he serves as the vice chair of the House Public Safety and Security Committee.
