Chris Measmer

Christopher Allen Measmer is an American politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the North Carolina Senate, representing the 34th district since his appointment in April 2025. Before joining the state legislature, he served for seven years on the Cabarrus County Commission, including a tenure as its chairman. A graduate of George Washington University, Measmer has emphasized a policy focus on fiscal responsibility, specifically advocating for the reduction of property taxes.
