Buck Newton

Buck Newton is an American politician and lawyer serving as a member of the North Carolina Senate, representing District 4. A native of Wilson, North Carolina, he previously served as an aide to U.S. Senator Jesse Helms and practiced law for over 16 years. Newton first joined the state legislature in 2011 and later served as the 2016 Republican nominee for North Carolina Attorney General. Known for his conservative policy positions, he has been a vocal advocate on issues ranging from public safety to state regulations, including sponsoring legislation regarding public mask-wearing.
