Alvin Botes is a South African politician who has served as a Member of the National Assembly since 2018 and as the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation since 2019. A member of the African National Congress, he previously served in the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from 2009 to 2018, holding positions as the Member of the Executive Council for Social Development and later for Co-operative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs. Botes has been active in party structures, including the ANC Youth League and the National Executive Committee.
