Amina Vandenheuvel

Amina Vandenheuvel is a Belgian politician and activist serving as a member of the Flemish Parliament since 2024. Born in Mechelen, she holds a master's degree in philosophy from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Vandenheuvel rose to prominence as a youth climate activist and leader within the RedFox movement, advocating for social justice, anti-racism, and improved public infrastructure. As a representative for the Workers' Party of Belgium (PVDA), she focuses on mobility, public works, and animal welfare, and is recognized as one of the youngest members of the current Flemish Parliament.
