Andries Gryffroy

Andries Gryffroy is a Belgian politician and a member of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA). Born in 1963 in Roeselare, he studied engineering at Groep T in Leuven before pursuing a career in the energy sector and founding his own business. He began his political involvement with the youth wing of the Volksunie party. Gryffroy served as the N-VA's general secretary starting in 2011 and held leadership roles in the East Flanders Provincial Council. Since 2014, he has served as a member of the Flemish Parliament and the Belgian Senate, where he has focused on committees including Culture, Youth, Sport, and Media.
