Amy Nielsen

Amy Nielsen is an American politician serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives. Representing the 85th district since 2017, she previously served as the Mayor of North Liberty, Iowa, from 2014 to 2016. Before entering public office, she was a stay-at-home mother and active community volunteer, serving on the North Liberty Community Pantry board and the Iowa City Community School District's Equity Advisory Committee. Her legislative career has focused on issues such as school funding, state government efficiency, and local government affairs.
