Amy Roeder is an American politician, actress, and academic serving as a member of the Maine House of Representatives. Born in Minneapolis and raised in New London, Minnesota, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Evansville, a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maine. Before entering politics, she had an extensive career in the arts, working as an actor, writer, and instructor at Improv Asylum and The Second City, and serving as the director of education at the Penobscot Theatre Company. She currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Maine and resides in Bangor.
