Ana Bernardo

Ana Paula Mata Bernardo is a Portuguese politician and trade unionist serving as a member of the Assembly of the Republic. Born in Pau, France, she returned to Portugal at a young age and later pursued a degree in economics in Lisbon. Before entering parliament in 2022, she had a long career with the UGT trade union and served as a consultant to the President of Portugal. During her parliamentary tenure, she has been involved in high-profile inquiries, including the investigation into TAP Air Portugal, and currently represents the Lisbon constituency.
