Anant Kumar Singh

Anant Kumar Singh is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly representing the Mokama constituency. Known locally as 'Chhote Sarkar,' he has had a long and controversial political career, having been associated with both the Janata Dal (United) and the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Throughout his tenure, he has faced numerous criminal charges, including murder and kidnapping, and was notably disqualified from the assembly in 2022 following a conviction under the Arms Act, before being acquitted by the Patna High Court in 2024. He remains a significant political figure in the Barh region, often noted for his influence among the Bhumihar community.
