安藤高夫

Takao Ando is a Japanese politician and physician serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in 1959 in Shibuya, Tokyo, he graduated from Nihon University School of Medicine and previously served as the director of the Eisei Medical Corporation. Throughout his political career, he has focused heavily on healthcare and welfare policy, leveraging his medical background to advocate for the sustainability of medical and nursing care systems. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as the secretary-general of a medical-focused parliamentary group, working to secure support for medical institutions and nursing facilities. He currently represents Tokyo's 28th district and has held positions including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.
