András Nemény

András Nemény is a Hungarian jurist and politician currently serving as the Mayor of Szombathely, a position he has held since 2019. Previously, he served as a member of the National Assembly of Hungary from 2010 to 2014, representing the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP) on their national list. During his parliamentary tenure, he was active in committees focused on consumer protection and employment. In April 2025, Nemény officially departed from the MSZP. He continues his political career as an independent mayor focused on local governance in Szombathely.
