Andrea Clausen

Andrea Clausen is a British civil servant and the current Chief Executive of the Falkland Islands, a position she assumed in 2025. She holds the distinction of being the first resident of the Falkland Islands and the first woman to serve in this role. Previously, she served as a member of the Legislative Assembly for the Stanley constituency from 2005 to 2009 and later worked as the Director of Natural Resources for the Falkland Islands Government. Clausen holds a PhD in Marine Biology from Bangor University and began her career as a Scientific Officer for Falklands Conservation.
