Born in London to refugee parents from Greek Cyprus, she moved to Adelaide as a child and pursued a career as a lawyer and company director before entering politics. During her tenure, she served as the Minister for Small and Family Business, Minister for Consumer and Business Affairs, and Minister for Arts in the First Malinauskas ministry. She announced her retirement from politics in early 2026 to return to her legal practice.
