Andreas Birtel

Andreas Birtel is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate, representing the constituency of Koblenz/Lahnstein since 2026. Prior to his legislative career, he worked as a banker and entrepreneur in the real estate and event industries. A long-time member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), Birtel has served in local government roles in Lahnstein. His political priorities include increasing police presence, supporting volunteer work, improving noise protection in the Middle Rhine Valley, and advocating for local infrastructure projects such as the Middle Rhine Bridge and the Braubach bypass.
