Michael Pfeiffer

Michael Pfeiffer is a German politician who has served as the Mayor of Gaggenau since May 2023. Before his election as mayor, he held various administrative roles in local government, including serving as the first deputy mayor of Gaggenau from 2015 to 2023 and working in the municipal administration of Bühl. He also serves as a member of the Rastatt district council. Pfeiffer holds a degree in public administration and a Master of Science in Water and Environment. He gained international attention in 2017 for his decision to prohibit a campaign appearance by a Turkish government minister in Gaggenau.
