Andreas Schwarz

Andreas Schwarz is a German politician and a member of the Bundestag, representing the state of Bavaria since 2013. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), he has served on the Budget Committee and the Audit Committee since 2018. Within the Bundestag, he acts as the SPD parliamentary group's rapporteur for the Federal Ministry of Defence's budget and provides budgetary oversight for Germany's intelligence services as a member of the Confidential Committee. Additionally, he is involved in the parliamentary supervision of the special fund dedicated to strengthening the German armed forces.
