Andrew Baxter is a Scottish politician currently serving as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch constituency, having been elected in 2026. Before his election to the Scottish Parliament, he served as an independent councillor for the Fort William and Ardnamurchan ward following the 2017 Highland Council election. He later joined the Scottish Conservatives before transitioning to the Scottish Liberal Democrats in 2024, subsequently winning a by-election for his former council seat.
