Andrew Cardozo

Andrew Cardozo is a Canadian politician and academic who has served as a member of the Senate of Canada since his appointment in November 2022. Prior to his parliamentary career, he spent nearly a decade as the president of the Pearson Centre for Progressive Policy and served as a commissioner for the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission. Cardozo is a recognized expert on multiculturalism and public policy, having authored works on Canadian unity. He currently serves on the Standing Senate Committees on National Finance and on National Security, Defence and Veterans Affairs.
