Andrey Gyurov

Andrey Gyurov is a Bulgarian politician and economist who has served as the Prime Minister of Bulgaria since February 2026, leading a caretaker government. Prior to his appointment as Prime Minister, he served as a deputy governor of the Bulgarian National Bank starting in 2023. His political career includes a tenure as a member of the National Assembly from 2021 to 2023. Before entering public office, Gyurov had a distinguished academic career as a business professor at the American University in Bulgaria.
