Andy Whitt is an American politician and banker serving as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives for District 6. An eighth-generation Alabamian and lifelong resident of Madison County, he has held his legislative seat since 2019. In the House, he serves as the chair of the Economic Development and Tourism Committee and as vice chair of the Financial Services Committee. Prior to his political career, Whitt worked in the banking sector, serving as vice president of First American Bank from 1996 to 2008 and subsequently as a senior vice president and Madison County Executive at First National Bank.
