Angela Turner-Ford is an American politician and attorney serving as a member of the Mississippi State Senate for the 16th district since 2013. A graduate of Hampton University and the University of Mississippi School of Law, she previously served as a city prosecutor for West Point and a county prosecutor for Clay County. She assumed her legislative seat following the death of her father, Bennie Turner, and has since been re-elected multiple times. In the Senate, she chairs the Drug Policy committee and serves as the board attorney for the Clay County Board of Supervisors, where she was the first Black woman to hold that position.
