Anita Among is a Ugandan politician, accountant, and lawyer who has served as the Woman Member of Parliament for Bukedea District since 2016. A former member of the Forum for Democratic Change, she joined the ruling National Resistance Movement in 2020 and served as the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda from 2022 to 2026. Beyond her legislative career, she is a prominent entrepreneur and proprietor of several educational and medical institutions in Bukedea. In 2026, she became the subject of a multi-agency corruption investigation and subsequently announced she would not seek re-election as Speaker for the 12th Parliament.
