Anju Dhillon is a Canadian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle since 2015. Born and raised in Montreal, she made history as the first person of South Asian descent to be elected to the House of Commons from Quebec. Before her parliamentary career, she practiced law, becoming the first Canadian Sikh to do so in Quebec courts. Dhillon holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Concordia University and a law degree from the Université de Montréal, and she has been active in Liberal Party politics since her youth.
