Anke van Extel-van Katwijk

Anke van Extel-van Katwijk is a Dutch politician who has served as the Mayor of Asten since January 2021. Before her appointment as mayor, she held various local government roles in Gemert-Bakel, including serving as a municipal councilor, faction leader for the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), and alderman. She also served as a member of the Provincial Council of North Brabant from 2011 to 2014. Her career began in municipal administration, where she worked as a policy officer and council advisor.
