Anna Deparnay-Grunenberg

Anna Deparnay-Grunenberg is a German-French-Swiss politician and a member of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg, elected in 2026. She previously served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2019 to 2024, where she focused on transport, tourism, and environmental policy. Before her time in the European Parliament, she was a long-standing city councillor in Stuttgart, where she also served as parliamentary group leader for the Greens. Educated in forestry and environmental sciences at the University of Freiburg and the University of British Columbia, she has a background in nature conservation and environmental advocacy.
