Anna Karamanli

Anna Karamanli is a Greek politician, sports journalist, and former track and field athlete. She began her career as a professional athlete specializing in the long jump before transitioning to journalism, where she served as a long-time presenter and editor-in-chief at the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT). Entering politics in 2006, she served as a local councillor before being elected to the Hellenic Parliament in 2012. She has since represented the Athens B and Athens C constituencies as a member of the New Democracy party.
