Anna Kavena

Anna Teresa Kavena is a German politician and member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, representing the constituency of Recklinghausen I since 2022. Born in Poland, she moved to Germany as a child and pursued a career as a social pedagogue and child protection specialist. Kavena has served on the Recklinghausen city council and the Ruhr Parliament since 2020. In the state parliament, she focuses on child and youth crime prevention and family policy, while continuing her professional work as a court-appointed expert in family law proceedings.
